Dr Jean-Yves Le Corre has ten years of experience in the corporate sector working in controlling and internal audit positions (Lafarge-Holcim, Areva, Heineken Group). After several years of coaching and corporate training in China and Southeast Asia, he entered academia in 2014 at the Department of Accounting & Finance of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where he became an Associate Professor of Practice in 2019. As a researcher at the University of Strasbourg (BETA-CNRS laboratory - UMR 7522), he developed models and practice guidelines for technology-driven pedagogies and prototyping solutions to respond to the imperatives of new skills development in the controlling profession, focusing on constructivist-based instructional strategies and immersive tools to support the process of setting KPI dashboards in business organisations. He is a founding member of the online learning Huyi Community (www.huyicommunity.com) to support educators in taking a career advantage of the paradigmatic changes in the executive education sector. He is a Sloan Fellow from the London Business School (UK).
